^(90)Sr Irradiation of Recurrent Conjunctival Papilloma

Abstract
A typical conjunctival papilloma of the upper and the lower palpebral conjunctiva was treated by surgical excision, immediately followed by 90Sr irradiation four times at two-day intervals with approximately 1,500 rep, in a 15 year-old Korean girl who had repeated recurrences after surgical excision three times over 4 years.
The author experienced a complete cure of the lesion without recurrence, leaving trivial sequelae such as mild scar in the upper and the lower palpebral conjunctiva and pigmentation of the lid skin, on follow-up for 7 months. Thus this case was presented and a brief review of literature was described.
